With a dedication to the field of cybersecurity, I bring over 20 years of corporate experience in cybersecurity and IT, with 7+ years of focused work as an adjunct in higher education. I excel in developing comprehensive IT and cybersecurity curricula while adeptly recruiting, retaining, and training highly capable IT and cybersecurity professionals.
Throughout my career, I have proven myself as a hands-on instructor and team leader, guiding organizations toward success. My strategic planning abilities have resulted in budget management in the millions and the implementation of network, storage, and security enhancements. I focus on aligning cybersecurity operations with business risk, ensuring that security programs protect critical systems while enabling organizational growth and resilience.
I'm actively engaged within the local IT community as a member of the Sussex County STEM Alliance, the Delaware Chapter of ISC2, and Delaware InfraGard. I also serve as an advisory committee member for Delaware Technical Community College, and hold adjunct professor positions at both Delaware Technical Community College and Wilmington University, teaching a range of subjects including networking, cybersecurity, and information technology.
